The difference between the density of expanded graphite and natural graphite
Expandable graphite and natural graphite belong to the same crystal and have many of the same properties as natural graphite. The excellent physicochemical properties of many flake graphites, as well as expandable graphite, are also available. Of course, with the increase of the graphite graphite pitch, the properties are also different, such as the density is very different. Expandable graphite, as a loose porous material, has a much lower density than graphite. The bulk density of the expandable graphite is from 0.002 to 0.004 g.cm -3 , and the bulk density of graphite is 1.08 g.cm -3 .
